We started Ovido with a simple idea: help brands and manufacturers take control of their product data so they can deliver better customer experiences.
With customers demanding more transparency, and new regulations like the EU’s Digital Product Passport (DPP) approaching, companies are under more pressure to gather detailed product-level info. That’s where our AI-powered platform comes in, making it faster and easier to stay compliant, collaborate, and make better decisions.
What exactly is Ovido?
We’re building a platform that helps companies collect, manage, and share product data, without the mess of spreadsheets, PDFs, or endless email threads. From bills of materials to sustainability metrics, everything lives in one place, structured, searchable, and easy to use.
Our team brings deep experience in sustainability, manufacturing, compliance, and software. And thanks to our new €2.4M seed round – from Lifeline Ventures, Kvanted, and Illusian, with additional R&D support from Business Finland (and our new Board Person Hannu Valtonen, one of the founders of Aiven) – we’re moving fast, starting with the textile industry, where these new regulations are already hitting home.
Why now?
Product data is becoming non-negotiable. Regulations like the DPP and Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) mean brands and suppliers need to track and share more information than ever. But the tools most teams are using? Outdated, manual, and messy.
