What's inside a passport

Built around the way textile.
actually works.

01

Variants without the variant headache.

Size × colour × season, modelled as one record. No more 200x200-row spreadsheets and "which one was the master?".

02

BOMs that trace material back to the maker.

Material ratios, origin, supplier, certifications — one click drills from finished good to fibre source.

03

One record, four points of view.

Role-aware views: each team sees the fields they need, edits the fields they own. The record stays whole.

CAPABILITIES

Everything a textile PIM should do

A non-exhaustive tour of what's in the box. Easily configurable per your Ovido account — turn off what you don't need.

01
Always know what's missing

Completeness scores and bulk edit views per product, per variant, per market. You see exactly what's blocking a product from going live before it becomes a problem.

02
One update, every channel

Change a material, a price or a description once. Ovido pushes it to Shopify, your retailer feeds and every other connected channel automatically.

03
New collections live in days, not weeks

Product templates for every category. Carry over successful styles with one click, reset what needs resetting, keep what doesn't.

04
Translations handled by Lumi

Product content translated automatically into your market languages. Lumi keeps translations in sync when the source copy changes — no spreadsheet handoffs to agencies.

Questions about PIM

How long does PIM implementation take?

Most teams are running on live data within 2–3 weeks. There's no IT project — you import your existing spreadsheets, Lumi maps the columns, and you're working in Ovido the same day.

Do we need IT to get started, and can we import our existing data?

No IT needed. Drag in the spreadsheet you've been using or exports, even screenshots of your old system — Lumi maps the columns, flags conflicts, and leaves you in control. If you want a deeper integration with your ERP or PLM, we handle the setup. Most teams are on live data within 2–3 weeks.

Is it easy to import data or do I need help from IT?

Data import is straightforward and requires no IT support. You import your data once and you’re done.

We already have a PIM. Why switch?

Most PIMs in fashion and textile were built a decade ago for catalogue management — not for the way product teams actually work today. They don't understand BOMs, material ratios, or supplier links. They don't connect cleanly to your PLM. And they certainly don't help with DPP or compliance data.

Ovido is built from the ground up for textile complexity and works alongside your existing PLM rather than fighting it. On top of that, it's AI-native in ways a legacy PIM isn't: bulk edits across hundreds of SKUs, automatic translations for supplier communications and product content, completeness scoring per variant, and Lumi handling the data collection that normally falls on your team manually.

If your current PIM needs spreadsheets to fill the gaps, it's not doing the job.

Do I need a PLM if I use Ovido?

Not necessarily. Some brands use Ovido as their end-to-end product data system — from early development through to storefront — covering supplier management, material and BOM tracking, and channel distribution. No PLM needed.

If you're already working with Delogue, Centric, or a similar tool and want to keep it, Ovido connects cleanly alongside it. It becomes the layer that takes your PLM data all the way to ecommerce, DPP, and compliance — without manual re-entry in between.

Does it work with our existing tools?

Yes. Ovido connects to Centric, BeProduct, Delogue, Shopify, and more out of the box. Ovido easily becomes your source of truth without forcing a re-platform.

Is Ovido ready for agentic commerce?

Yes. AI shopping agents — Google, Perplexity, and the next wave of discovery tools — don't browse product pages the way humans do. They read structured product data. Ovido ensures every SKU has complete, accurate, structured attributes so your products are visible and recommendable in AI-driven discovery, not just traditional search and ecommerce channels.

What if our product data is incomplete or messy?

That's the normal starting point. Ovido shows you exactly where the gaps are via completeness scoring — per SKU, per variant. You fix what matters first and build from there.

How does it handle variants — sizes, colours, seasons?

Size × colour × season are modelled as one record, not 200 rows. No more "which spreadsheet was the master?" Every variant inherits from the parent record and overrides only what's different.

Does Ovido PIM feed our DPP automatically?

Yes. The product record in Ovido is the single source for DPP generation. Clean PIM data means passports generate without manual input.

Can suppliers contribute data directly?

Yes. Suppliers reply to requests in-app or even directly via e-mail, no long tedious onboarding or new tools are required for them to learn and you to get most out of Ovido. Spec data, documents, and certificates land in the right place automatically.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on your catalogue size and integrations. Book a demo and we'll put together a quote.
